bourgogne...land of great art & good living

Bourgogne is steeped in History and to this day has remained virtually unspoilt with a rural feel.  Located in the middle of France it has been quoted the 'land port to Europe' and is easily accessible by all, via autoroute, train, and plane.

The ducal capital of Dijon is in the heart of the region and from it lays the 4 departments - Yonne and Cote d'Or to the North and the Nievre and Chalon et Saone to the south.

The thing that is synonymous with Bourgogne is the food and wine...so if you enjoy gastronomic fayre, then you certainly could find no where else better than this.

However, there is a lot more to Bourgogne apart from its gastronomic fayre...it is littered with ancient Castles and Abbey's.  The landscape is truly beautiful with its rolling open land, great forests and vineyards; criss-crossed with rivers and canal waterways.

It has a charming & sophisticated style showing great pride
